On Friday, 12.04.19, a nighttime deployment took place at the Kennedy Bridge. USM-Nord and BVT Chartering und Logistics were jointly involved.

After a build time of approximately one year, the floating grab dredger “Krabbe” was ceremoniously launched at the Genthin shipyard.

After keel laying on 13 April 2018, the “Trischen” was launched at the Tangermünde shipyard on 01 March 2019.

On 10.01.2019, at 04.00 in the morning, BVT Chartering und Logistics GmbH began the movement of the 800 ton heavy sluice gate Oslebshausen by 10 meters onto the heavylift platform.

The railroad bridge, weighing in at approximately 700 tons, was installed by the Rosslauer Schiffswerft on 01 December 2018. The highway BAB 8 had to be fully blocked off for parts of the work. The local newspaper Pforzheimer Zeitung documented the procedure in a video.

Cleaning and conserving the 60 year old historical vessel FMS “GERA” was completed by Rupertus Strako last week.

A documentary with the title “It's a long way to the ocean – Building Ships in Roßlau (Der weite Weg zum Meer – Schiffbau in Roßlau)” including a segment about the Rosslauer Schiffswerft was aired by MDR yesterday. The movie was made by Lutz Hofmann.

The second bridge constructed by the Roßlauer Schiffswerft for crossing the highway BAB 3 was – in the course of modernization works at the highway-crossing Fürth/Erlangen – successfully installed last weekend.
