The heavy-duty pontoon "BHV INNOVATION" from Stahlbau Nord GmbH, which was recently extended to 95 meters by Bredo Dry Docks GmbH and converted into a semi-submersible, had to prove its newly acquired diving ability on Monday, April 19th, 2021.
The tests carried out with "BHV INNOVATION" were all successful. As planned, the semi-submersible could be lowered to the bottom of the harbor basin without any problems. Another pontoon was then picked up as a test weight, lifted out of the water and lowered back into the water. "BHV INNOVATION" was also able to convince in its function as a semi-submersible in the test.
The extensive tests lasted until late in the evening.
