Floating crane "BHV Athlet" outfitted with 3 new main propulsion units
The floating crane BHV ATHLET was not just given a new coat of paint during its drydocking in August 2018.
New motors were installed (2 x Scania DI 16-080 M 03-62 C with 460 kW performance, respectively, for the SRP Schottel main propulsion units and 1 x Scania DI 16-094 M 04-66 A with 468 kW performance for the onboard network and for crane operations). The BHV ATHLET now satisfies the current emissions regulations for inland ships and is equipped with the technical state of the art in terms of its onboard machinery.
At this moment, the installation is in trials with finalization planned for calender week 37 in 2018.
