Together with the Lower Saxony Water Management, Coastal Defence and Nature Conservation Agency (NLWKN), they are building a state-of-the-art multi-purpose vessel within 14 months. Equipped with an efficient diesel-electric drive system and certified in accordance with the “Blue Angel”, this ship sets new standards in terms of sustainability. ️ This ship is intended for a wide range of uses:
Research & monitoring: taking water and sediment samples, hydrographic surveys, meteorological and hydrological measurements.
Oil spill response: Designed as an oil recovery vessel, it can collect oil from the water surface and provide technical assistance to damaged ships.
Environmental monitoring: Samples are analyzed on site using special laboratory equipment to enable further investigations on land.
Water surveillance: The ship carries out surveillance and salvage tasks and can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
